Are you interested in development cooperation and would you like to contribute to a motivated team with your ideas, your creativity and your critical spirit? Then HeiSDA is the right place to be.
How can I get involved with HeiSDA?
Actions say more than words and together we can positively change the world.
Join us and become a supporter of Heidelberg Sustainable Development Abroad e.V. (HeiSDA). We are a colorful team of all branches of study and age groups.
BECOME PART OF OUR ACTIVE TEAM
We are a young club and we are looking for a variety of exciting tasks for which we are looking for dedicated volunteers: public relations, fundraising, conception and organization of the volunteer training program, development of event formats, administrative club work…
At HeiSDA you will find space to introduce yourself and to build something great and to help shape it.
Become a Volunteer/r and become active on the spot
A group of HeiSDA-volunteers will enable development projects in middle and low-income countries every year – at the moment, specifically, two construction projects in Nepal. Together with other volunteers, you will fund the project budget, go through a training program. Finally, you will be accommodated in the host communities for about six weeks with local families and help to realize the project.
A local counterpart and translator will be part of the team on site. In addition, our partner NGOs are always on hand to provide advice and support during the entire stay.
BECOME AN ASSISTANT AND FINANCIER OF DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
HeiSDAfinances the development projects through project-related fundraising, donations and membership fees. You can support our work with your membership in the long term, even if you are not active in the club.
Just download the membership application , fill it in and send it to us by post or e-mail (as scan) and become a member.
WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO YOU!
Just have a look and come along at Wednesday, 8 pm. We always meet at the Campus Bergheim, in the seminar room 02.034 on the 2nd floor.
Be part of it – as club members and / or volunteers: Join hands, support local initiatives!
