Update March

In 2017 we got started for real at HeiSDA and a lot is happening also behind the scenes. At a meeting with (almost) all active HeiSDA-members in January we had the opportunities to discuss the concept and visions of HeiSDA, our strategies for the teamwork inside HeiSDA and future projects. The discussions were followed by a delicious shared meal of Dal Bhat (Nepalese dish) in the evening.
After a lot of advertisement and flyer distribution in the last weeks, we are more than happy that so many of you applied for our volunteer project in Nepal. The selectionprocess is completetd and we are already very exicted about working together with our HeiSDA volunteer-teams to realize projects in Nepal. At the moment we are busy with creating an interesting training program consisting of workshops and lectures for the upcoming semester. The lectures will also be accessible for a bigger audience: So no matter whether you are a HeiSDA volunteer or just interested in the country and development work in general- you are more than welcome to join our lectures.
You can also look forward to other HeiSDA events: A surf-workshop with Kathrin from HeiSDA is planned for a weekend in early summer at the Baltic Sea. If you want to make your first surf experiences, if you want to improve your surfing skills and spend a few nice days together, earmark a weekend in late May for that. As soon as the program is fixed, we will provide you further details! Last but not least we don´t want to miss the upcoming students parties: Look out for HeiSDA Soli-Parties!
